The Travel Agency Operations Certificate
ONLINE Program 1047

The Travel Agency Operations Certificate has been designed for mature individuals who wish to enter into a mainly retail aspect of the travel industry. Courses offered in this program will prepare individuals for employment in the travel agencies, consolidators and airlines. Emphasis will be on those specific skills required by the competent travel professional.

The online delivery offers an opportunity to complete this program on your own schedule. Each course is between 15 to 30 hours long and it must be completed within 90 days. Courses can be taken continuously. Please note: Taking Off in Travel, Travel Sales and Trends, and Air Reservations are the best courses with which to begin. The Automated courses, and Fares and Tickets International are more advanced and should be taken after completing the other courses.

Program 1403 Travel Basics, and Program 1404 Airline Products and Distribution, equal the Program 1047 Travel Agency Operations credits. Students who consider working in the travel industry should pursue to complete the Travel Agency Operations certificate. Others interested in just some aspects of travel can take either 1403 or 1404 program.

Program 1405 Tour Specialist is designed for those interested in creating and/or leading tours.
